Effectively in business since tourism in Bhutan was privatised a little over a decade ago, Bhutan Travel Service (Licence no. 1007136) is a private tour company that is as developed and dynamic as the Bhutanese travel industry itself. The company has always been able to handle the complexities and unpredictable demands of the business with relative ease and efficiency and has successfully satisfied clients from all over the world who are now friends.
In 1999, for example, unprecedented liberalisation of the industry by the government launched tourism into a new phase of growth. But the advantage of time-honed experience enabled BTS to stay a step ahead of its competitors and remain one of the best in the business.
